Stelpro Awards EFC Scholarship to University Laval Electrical Engineering Student

Stelpro Scholarship Laval

Stelpro has awarded Francis Quevillon $3,500 through the Stelpro 360 Performance EFC Scholarship Award. The scholarship was awarded by Connie Chabot, Stelpro’s VP of Sales and Marketing, when Francis visited Stelpro’s factory in Saint-Bruno, PQ. He is studying electrical engineering at University Laval in Quebec City.

“As the electricity and electrical heating markets are growing, Stelpro continuously looks for ambitious and eager individuals such as Francis to enter this field as well as our team,” says Chabot. “Skilled individuals like Francis are as asset to this field and Stelpro is proud to have the opportunity to provide him support for his educational endeavours.”

“I would like to thank EFC and particularly Stelpro for this great scholarship,” said Quevillon during his visit. “It will certainly allow to continue my studies with less financial burden.”

EFC’s scholarship program is more than funding students, says 2015 ERC Scholarship Program Chair Joris Myny. “It is an opportunity to promote our industry in every Canadian university and college and showcase the electrical industry as a viable career choice in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Management, Operations, Information Technology and Human Resources.”

EFC is now accepting sponsors for the 2016 scholarship program. To find out more, contact John Jefkins, jjefkins@electrofed.com.
