Hazcon Inc. is a consulting engineering company that provides a full suite of services in the areas of equipment design, certification, and system integration for manufacturers of electrical equipment for hazardous locations and explosive atmospheres. Hazcon’s primary focus is to help manufacturers prepare for all phases of certification of these products – from product design, approval, and installation to certification maintenance. In addition, Hazcon offers training services, making it easy for manufacturers of products for hazardous locations to understand the concepts, design their products, interpret the relevant Standards, pursue certification efficiently, and maintain the certification.

Along with consulting and training services, Hazcon offers a unique online Directory of hazardous location products, manufacturers, and service providers. This Directory makes hazardous location products information accessible to the global market, providing essential data in a standardized, easy to use format. HazLoc products are searchable by categories, certifications (e.g., North America, IECEx, ATEX, UKCA), classified areas (Zone & Class/Division), and protection techniques.
