This article is a summary of EHRC’s Agents of Change panel, Bridging the Gap Between Talk and Action. The annual event hosted by EHRC at the Toronto Reference Library is a two-day event designed to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the electricity industry.
The total value of building permits decreased 4.1% to $9.1 billion in December, following a month during which several high value permits were issued. Declines were reported in every component except single-family dwellings. Gains in seven provinces, led by Newfoundland and Labrador, were largely offset by a significant decrease in Ontario (-13.2%).

A workshop conducted on behalf of Technical Safety BC (TechSafeBC) to evaluate potential causes of electric shock risks has produced a series of recommendations that address root causes behind the risks.
The employment income of those who certify in the trades, otherwise known as journeypersons, varies markedly across Canada, with those plying their trade in the North and Western Canada making more on average in 2018 than those in Central and Eastern Canada.
One third of master electricians have medical benefits. Less than one quarter have no benefits at all. See what percentage have vision and dental benefits.
