A-Light Introduces Aloft 3D Generator

February 21, 2025

A-Light is pleased to announce the introduction of Aloft 3D Generator. The tool allows designers to quickly and easily create unique Aloft 3D luminaire patterns.

Aloft 3D luminaires were introduced in July 2024 as an expansion to the Aloft family. Laser-printed metallic joiners allow the creation of impactful, elaborate lighting arrangements when used with Aloft linear luminaires. The suspended luminaires create visual impact in a range of sizes for a wide variety of spaces. A small arrangement can bring illumination and a distinctive look to a conference room, while a large cluster can transform a lobby space with a signature aesthetic.

Design options for creating shapes with Aloft were greatly expanded with the new joiners: designers can choose from eight preconfigured patterns or work with A-Light’s Design Assist team to produce unique shapes and sizes. With Aloft 3D Generator, designers are now empowered to generate their own designs with a few clicks, shortening the origination process.

The tool invites designers to choose from one of four patterns: organic round, stacked round, organic linear, or stacked linear. Once dimensions are entered, the Aloft 3D Generator creates the first bespoke design. Designers can continue to explore new configurations with one click until they uncover the best arrangement for their project. Additional fields are then provided to input options, such as power and optics, color, CCT, quantity, driver type, and luminaire type.

When a final Aloft 3D luminaire design and options have been selected, designers can then request a quote and instantly download various technical files, including BOM, installation files, and STEP files.
