Cementex Highlights CRP900 Double-Insulated Cable Ring Pliers and Scoring Tool

November 3, 2025

Cementex highlights their double-insulated cable ringing pliers and scoring tool. Crafted with Cementex’s unique double insulation around its handle, this double-insulated cable scoring technology helps safeguard electricians while preventing damage to cables and ensuring compliance.

CRP900

Cable scoring can be hazardous if not performed with proper equipment. To protect against potential harm, Cementex’s cable scoring pliers feature orange over yellow double-insulation, empowering electricians to confidently cut through exterior cable insulation and perform precise stripping.  These enhanced safety features have made Cementex’s technology a first-choice tool for older underground systems with lead-sheathed wires and cables.

Manufactured in the U.S.A. with both U.S. and globally sourced materials, Cementex’s double-insulated cable scoring tool is tested to 10,000 volts and rated for live use up to 1,000 VAC / 1500 VDC. Approximately 8.5” with around 1.375” of maximum jaw opening, the tool can tackle a range of diverse and demanding applications. The technology also empowers its customers to easily meet requirements such as OSHA safety-related work practices, the NFPA 70E standard, and CSA-Z462. What’s more – the product comes with a lifetime guarantee for its mechanical aspects and a two-year guarantee on its insulation.
