Junction Boxes and Wallmount Enclosures

Both of these options offer the following features
  • Provide protection where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise be very wet, or in specific applications where corrosion may be a problem.
  • Smooth, continuously welded seams, without knockouts, cutouts, or holes.
  • Formed lip on enclosure to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants.
  • Seamless poured-in place gasket.
  • Welded brackets provide for enclosure mounting. 
  • A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is provided in the enclosure.
  • Type 4X approved

Junction Boxes

  • Continuous hinge and door secured with quarter turn or lift off cover with clamps
  • All models larger than 4″ x 4″ include a removable 14 gauge inner panel.
  • Sizes up to 16″x14″

Wallmount Enclosures

  • Door and body stiffeners are provided in the larger enclosures for extra rigidity.
  • Aluminum continuous hinge on door may be removed by pulling the alum­inum hinge pin.
  • Door is secured with easily operated aluminum clamps.
  • Provision for padlocking
  • Removable 12 gauge steel inner panel is included, collar studs are provided for mount­ing inner panels.
  • Sizes up to 60″x36″

Diecast Aluminum Enclosures

  • Watertight, Thick wall + UL Listed 
  • Hundreds of sizes and option available
  • 16-gauge galvanized steel inner panels are optional and available for most sizes 
  • Available unfinished or powder coated 
  • Captive stainless steel lid screws
  • Type 4X and 4X/6P approved model options
  • Temperature Range (-40ºC up to +80ºC)
  • Sizes up to 12″x25″ 

Aluminum Modification Services

Field modifications can take time – Hammond can provide factory modifications that maintain relevant approvals and save valuable installation time and money in the field.
  • Holes and cutouts can be pre-cut.
  • Sizes can be modified (subject to approvals)
  • Additional internal mounting studs and stand-offs can be added.
  • Quarter turn option available on some models.
