Eaton BR Load Centres Designed for Easy Installation

April 23, 2026

Specially designed for easy installation, Eaton’s BR 25mm (1-inch) load centres house the branch circuit breakers and the wiring required to distribute power to individual circuits. They serve as the main breaker for service entrances or as a main lug when adding circuits to an existing system. The main breaker protects the entire panel and can be used to disconnect the service. The branch breakers protect the wires leading to individual electrical loads such as fixtures and outlets.

Core features

  • Plug-on neutral design provides time and labour savings by eliminating the pigtail.
  • Twin neutral design located in wireway, away from circuit breakers, means easier wiring and balancing of the load.
  • Extra 38mm (1.5”) knock-out for bundling allows maximum wiring gutter space for ease of wiring, in compliance with NEC requirements.
  • One-piece, roll-formed, metal back-pan with circuit breaker alignment notches ensures accurately aligned breaker and bus tabs.
  • Standard 365mm (14-3/8 inches) wide enclosures fit snugly between wall studs.
  • Tangential main knock-out eliminates the need for conduit offsets, which permits faster, easier installation.
  • BR load centres feature Robertson slotted square combo screw heads, which means only one screwdriver is need for installation.
