Eureka Introduces Velia Tubular Luminaire

September 9, 2024

Eureka has announced the release of its Velia luminaire. The versatile family is offered in a variety of colors, textures, lengths, and configurations to meet a space’s specific aesthetics.

Unique tubular arrangements can be created with Velia; 36 preconfigured clusters are available. Designers can select from three canopy types and then choose one, three, or six cables. The family may also be suspended as a horizontal linear or showcased as a vertical standalone centerpiece. Velia brings a touch of elegance and sophistication to reception areas, conference rooms, cafeteria spaces, lounges, upscale restaurants, or boutique hotels.

Velia

Velia’s outer layer is a durable polycarbonate diffuser film with a smooth surface and three unique finishes: frost, prismatic, or linear textures. The interior film is offered in a choice of colors. Hues of amber add warmth and charm to hospitality settings. Vibrant pink or purple add pops of color in eclectic spaces. Gradients are also available to foster a calming setting. Designers can create unique looks by experimenting with outer film finishes and inner film colors.

The 40-inch and 60-inch versions of the Velia luminaire are offered in both regular and high output; the 20-inch length is only available in high output. Each single suspension delivers from 1,212 to 3,636 lumens, depending on the options selected.

A slim, flat cable adds an unexpected aesthetic to Velia’s profile. It sits perpendicular to the end cap of the horizontal version but takes a last-minute gentle curve into the line of the vertical luminaire.

Velia may be installed floor-to-ceiling, creating a row of luminaires that visually divides a space. A magnetic anchor point assures that the flat cable is anchored to the floor but safely detaches if something or someone makes contact. The optional anchor point is available for both single suspended and cluster configurations, preventing sway caused by air currents.
