Power Bus Way Cable Bus Versatility: Smart Fittings

May 4, 2026

Purpose-Built Components That Streamline Cable Bus Routing and Enhance System Performance

In the realm of diverse projects, a one-size-fits-all approach often falls short in addressing unique challenges and optimizing effectiveness.

Power Bus Way addresses these challenges with a range of engineered fittings designed to simplify routing, reduce installation effort, and maintain a compact cable bus footprint. Each fitting is developed to solve a specific routing condition while ensuring reliable performance and system continuity.

The following fittings highlight how targeted innovative design improves flexibility, efficiency, and overall system execution.

Key Fittings & Applications

T-Fitting

T-Fitting enables multiple cable bus runs to connect within a single enclosure while terminating at different points.

By consolidating routing paths, the fitting reduces the need for parallel or stacked cable bus systems. This reduces enclosure size, minimizes material usage, and optimizes space on site.

Orientation Change Fitting (OCF)

The Orientation Change Fitting allows a direct 90-degree rotation within a single component.

Traditional routing methods require combining vertical and horizontal bends to achieve this transition. The OCF replaces these multi-component configurations with a single fitting, reducing part count and installation time.

This design is particularly effective in space-constrained environments or where equipment terminations require precise alignment, enabling cleaner routing with fewer adjustments.

Expansion / Reducer Fitting

The Expansion / Reducer Fitting is designed to provide a practical solution for accommodating varying enclosure sizes with ease. With the ability to transition seamlessly between different sizes, it offers a flexible response to evolving cable management needs.

For applications that require additional space for cables and equipment termination, the fitting enables smooth expansion and efficient installation. Conversely, in situations where less cabling or smaller equipment is required, it allows for a controlled reduction without compromising system continuity or performance.

System Benefit

Together, these fittings form a modular system that adapts to real-world routing challenges. By reducing component complexity, optimizing space, and protecting system integrity, Power Bus Way enables faster installations and more resilient power distribution solutions.
