McWong International has introduced its new Bluetooth®-DALI Controller as an addition to the company’s award-winning TruBlu Smart Control suite of control devices. The Bluetooth-SIG qualified controller offers the widest range of protocol compatibility and mechanical interoperability available in the marketplace today.

The TruBlu Bluetooth- DALI Wireless Fixture Controller offers an unmatched range of control flexibility for indoor or outdoor lighting. It enables pairing of Bluetooth connectivity with DALI networks, resulting in the robustness of DALI control capabilities with the ease and accessibility of smartphone app control. Feature-rich, the module offers ON/OFF, dimming and color tuning control as well as an integrated photocell. It also enables asset management and tracking via the Bluetooth beacon and provides real- time energy reporting. Furthermore, the device provides wireless access to DALI 2.0 LED driver data, including the ability to track luminaire data, hours of operation and thermal conditions during operation. Compatible with the industry- standard Zhaga receptacle, the device also features an IP65 rating.

Stephen Zhou, McWong Vice President, notes, “combining the best of both Bluetooth and DALI means the platform offers true ‘future-proofing’ to the marketplace. No one can be sure what functionality may be bundled with next-generation LED drivers or the Bluetooth or DALI protocols. With Bluetooth connectivity embedded in their lighting, customers can take advantage of the functionality as it evolves.”
