Immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Goal Zero for a refund.

Affected products

This recall involves the Goal Zero 4x HPP to 1x HPP+ Solar Series Combiner model 98715 with UPC 847974009727. The recalled cables are used to combine solar panels together to charge a power station faster. The cables are 56 cm (1’10”) in length. The recalled cables are compatible with: HPP equipped GZ solar panels, 8 mm equipped GZ solar panels (requires HPP Male to 8 mm Female adapter), 3 to 1 Parallel Combiners (situation dependent), HPP+ extension cables.

Issue

When the Goal Zero 4x HPP to 1x HPP+ Solar Series Combiner used in combination with Goal Zero’s Nomad series panels, the “series combiner” can allow the solar panels to be damaged, which can lead to a fire hazard.

As of February 21, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Goal Zero 4x HPP to 1x HPP+ Solar Series Combiner and contact Goal Zero for a refund.
