Virtual Training for Electricians (VET) is now available at many IBEW Canada Training Centres nationwide — and more are coming online soon! What is VET?
VET is a cutting-edge virtual reality training program designed specifically for electrical apprentices. It features two powerful modes:
- Step-by-step guided learning
- Realistic testing mode with LMS feedback for both instructors and students
VET 1: Residential Electrical Training Includes
- Single-pole switch installation
- Switched receptacle & single-pole switch combo
- Two 3-way switches controlling a light
- Multi-location light control with GFCI installation
VET 2: Mastering Conduit Bending
- Learn seven essential conduit bends, including:
- 90º Stub-Up (Arrow & Star Methods)
- Back-to-Back 90
- 3-Bend Back-to-Back
- Offset
- 3-Bend & 4-Bend Saddles
