Virtual Training for Electricians (VET) is now available at many IBEW Canada Training Centres nationwide — and more are coming online soon! What is VET?

VET is a cutting-edge virtual reality training program designed specifically for electrical apprentices. It features two powerful modes:

  • Step-by-step guided learning
  • Realistic testing mode with LMS feedback for both instructors and students

VET 1: Residential Electrical Training Includes

  • Single-pole switch installation
  • Switched receptacle & single-pole switch combo
  • Two 3-way switches controlling a light
  • Multi-location light control with GFCI installation

VET 2: Mastering Conduit Bending

  • Learn seven essential conduit bends, including:
  • 90º Stub-Up (Arrow & Star Methods)
  • Back-to-Back 90
  • 3-Bend Back-to-Back
  • Offset
  • 3-Bend & 4-Bend Saddles
