Surplec HV Solutions Opens Alberta Medium Voltage Transformers and Apparatus Repair Facility

Sherbrooke, PQ-based Surplec Inc. has officially opened a $3 million, 10,000-square-foot facility in Spruce Grove, AB. The facility will be managed by Frederik Lambert, who has seven years experience working at Surplec Inc. The western facility is already training a technical team.

Established in 1987, Surplec HV Solutions offers a complete line of products in the field of medium and high voltage. The company also provides refurbishes and repairs power distribution equipment. Facilities include
• 1 high voltage in Sherbrooke, PC

• 2 medium voltage — polemounts in Sherbrooke, PQ and Edmonton, AB (under construction)
• 1 medium voltage — padmounts (Sherbrooke)
• 1 medium voltage — dry type (Granby, PQ)
• 1 control panel (Sherbrooke)
• sales offices in Sherbrooke and Edmonton
