Ron Trottier

It is with great sadness that Standard advises of the loss of one of its members. Ron Trottier, a sales representative of Standard in the Alberta market, will be deeply missed by all. On behalf of everyone at Standard, the company expresses its deepest condolences to Ron’s family.

Ron passed away suddenly on Monday, October 26, 2015 in Calgary, Alberta. He was born on April 16, 1957 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and resided there with his family until relocating to Calgary on October 31, 2006.

After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Winnipeg and later a Construction Technician Certificate at Lethbridge Community College, his career in sales included both successful entrepreneurial business ownership and his final corporate adventure working at Standard Products Inc.

A celebration of Ron’s life was held in Calgary on November 2. In living memory of Ron Trottier, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
