Deadline Looming for NECA Project Excellence Award Applications

 

March 2, 2017

March 31 is the deadline for the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA)’s Project Excellence Award, a new award program that recognizes companies for their outstanding commitment, professionalism and ingenuity in delivering an electrical project.

Awards will be based on whether the electrical/technology portion of the project is valued under or over US$1 million for each market sector, except for overhead transmission and substation/interconnection, and must be based on projects completed in 2016.

Projects from these 11 categories are eligible for the award:

  • commercial/institutional
  • design build
  • educational
  • energy solutions/green building
  • health care
  • industrial
  • international
  • overhead transmission
  • residential
  • street lighting/traffic signal
  • substation/interconnection
