Texcan Calgary Branch Relocates to New LEED-Certified Facility with Customer Convenience and Sustainability in Mind

Texcan, a division of Sonepar Canada has relocated its Calgary branch to 190-11600 Stonehill Drive N.E., just five minutes from its previous location.

Strategically positioned near the TransCanada Highway, the new facility streamlines customer pickups and supports Sonepar Canada’s environmental commitments. The warehouse offers improved logistics with seven dock doors, a drive-in bay, and 32-foot ceiling clearance.

The LEED Silver–certified facility integrates key sustainability features:

  • Controlled LED lighting (interior and exterior)
  • Wi-Fi–connected Level 2 EV charging station
  • Rooftop solar PV array
  • Stormwater reuse system for washrooms
  • 100 per cent electric warehouse fleet

Texcan will also launch its second Texcan Solution Centre at this location—an interactive space showcasing Southwire SIMpull Solutions® and hands-on training. The first centre is located at Texcan’s Vancouver head office.
