Sauer Energy Partners with North Wind Power

Sauer Energy Inc. has announced that they have entered into a strategic alliance with North Wind Power, Inc. a Canadian Corporation, located in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

This collaboration enables SEI to advance the use of wind energy.  SEI and NW have submitted a proposal concept to Natural Resources Canada and have been confirmed for formal proposal submission.  Successful selection would see installations commence in April 2018.  We are confident with our submission because it is the only turbine in its class that has successfully completed certification analysis.  Further, due to the extreme weather conditions in Canada, the WindCutter will likely be chosen due to its robust construction and proprietary safety braking system, its customized hybrid components and its availability.

Canada is committed to reducing diesel dependency for the generation of electricity for current off-grid communities.  For the first time, the Inuit population will have clean, on-demand electricity, carbon free, in line with their sacred obligation to the environment.

SEI WindCutter, designed as a hybrid system to provide wind energy along with storage backup cells and a solar array, is slated to be the primary solution for NW.  This effort is intended to lead to a formal joint venture between SEI and NW.

Currently, the WindCutter is scheduled to be installed on Fogo Island.  This installation has been approved.   Projections are to deliver 200 turbine systems for the first year, beginning 2018.  The first shipment is to be delivered to Newfoundland this week.

Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau has made turning to renewable energy his promise, with $100M in funding devoted to facilitate solutions to this issue.  In addition, NW will have an established investment company in Canada that will serve as a joint commitment with the Canadian government.  The first off-grid focus will be Canada’s Aboriginal communities.

The Canadian government is taking its global citizenship very seriously.  As a result, Natural Resources Canada, regarding global initiative Mission Innovation, had this to say, “Canada is joining the international community in the fight against climate change through Mission Innovation: a commitment to double investments in clean energy innovation over five years, accelerating global clean energy innovation, ensuring clean energy technologies are widely affordable and driving economic growth.”

The goal of Mission Innovation is “to dramatically accelerate global clean energy innovation.”  More is available on their website at:  http://mission-innovation.net

Prime Minister Trudeau is aligning with both the First Nations of Canada and the environmentalists with respect to joining Mission Innovation.  Another pledge is to power all of its government buildings and operations using renewable energy sources by 2025, with a goal to reduce their greenhouse-gas emissions by 40% by 2030.

The actions announced today are very important first steps for SEI.  We are in the process of committing to our Canadian partners the needed turbines for extreme weather conditions.  The use of SEI turbine systems will bolster support for renewable energy conversion and provide a solution that has commercial viability and proven technology.

Sauer Energy CEO, Dieter Sauer, commented, “We applaud our Canadian neighbors and agree that cohesion is an integral part of the strategic collaboration between SEI and NW.  The Canadian government has vowed their commitment to acceptance and to helping fund this project.

NW is dedicated to providing renewable hybrid energy solutions to the advantage of the Aboriginal people.  It is our aim to work closely with our Canadian partners for a smooth transition toward the goal.  SEI will also be working together with Wind Sun Energy Systems to combine their expertise to tie hybrid systems together for optimum performance.”
