The Wired Certification Guidelines for Commercial Developments and Redevelopments – Canada is a handbook for engineers, architects, developers, general contractors, and construction project managers to ensure that any new commercial development or redevelopment is designed to meet the technology needs of today’s tenants.

Wired Certification Guidelines are designed to be used by architects, engineers, developers and contractors during the design and construction phases of any commercial development or redevelopment. WiredScore had announced a national expansion of operations across Canada in May.

Use the guidelines as a reference for

• electrical resiliency
• outside plant and point of entry planning
• telecom room design
• riser planning
• mobile coverage and 5G planning

These guidelines are developed in accordance with Canadian building codes and technical standards.
