Electric Elle — Third Annual Tournament — Great Success

According to the participants and organizers of the third annual Electric Elle Golf tournament, this year’s event was a great success. The weather was on the right side, and close to 70 women from the electrical industry networked together on a beautiful sunny day. The event took place on September 15 at the Cardinal Golf Club in King City, ON.

When asked, participants said that it was great to enjoy each other’s company and have fun together. It was really nice to see people gathering together on a non competitive basis. Many young women professionals participated in the event. Watch for profiles of some of these women in upcoming issues.

Hydro-Québec’s Net Income up $633 million or 35% for First Nine Months of 2021

Hydro-Québec posted net income of $2,441 million for the first three quarters of 2021, or $633 million more than the $1,808 million recorded for the same period in 2020. This increase is mainly due to a $244-million rise in net electricity sales in Québec, a jump of $118 million in net exports and a $153-million decline in financial expenses.
