November 14: Apprenticeship Roundtable — Supporting Indigenous Student Success

On November 14 in Ottawa, CAF-FCA is hosting a free roundtable event, Supporting Indigenous Student Success in the Skilled Trades.

Participants will have an opportunity to learn about career awareness and trades training programs for Indigenous youth, gain new insights from industry and Indigenous training organizations that will share promising practice, listen to Indigenous apprentices and journeypersons share their career journeys, share ideas and network with others, and take away practical ideas to support the inclusion and success of Indigenous students interested in skilled trades careers.

The event also enables participants to provide input on how to help support and create more opportunities for Indigenous students interested in apprenticeship and skilled trades careers.
