Worker Electrocuted in Greenhouse Incident

Joshua Remigio, 29, of Leamington, Ontario was electrocuted last week while working on the property of Great Lakes Greenhouses, described on its website as North America’s largest grower of hydroponic cucumbers.

According to media reports, Remigio was employed by a sprinkler company and working on an electrical panel Great Lakes Greenhouses when the electrocution occurred.

It’s not known at this point if Remigio was a qualified electrical worker. A Ministry of Labour investigation is underway.
