Alberta Electrical Inspectors Solar Workshops: New Dates

Solar Workshop

Jan 7, 2019

In response to demand, the Solar Energy Society of Alberta and Energy Efficiency Alberta, in partnership with the Electrical Inspectors Association of Alberta, will conduct two more workshops on the Canadian Electrical Code updates for solar photovoltaics. Six workshops have already taken place.

These 7-hour workshops provide electrical inspectors with the 2015 and 2018 Canadian Electrical Code updates for solar electricity, and include inspectors checklists, which address the most crucial inspection points of the four typical solar photovoltaic system types. Participants will receive a certification of completion upon passing a one hour exam at the end of the workshop.

The new dates are
• February 15 in Edmonton
• March 15 in Calgary

Priority seating will go to Group A Electrical Safety Codes Officers, and available space may be filled by members of the solar or electrical industry.
