Bender Inc. has announced their plans to help preserve the environment and reduce their carbon footprint. Bender employees have long valued the importance of being environmentally aware and the company wants to ensure everyone is able to do their part effectively.

One of the many steps Bender has taken towards helping the environment has been planting over one-hundred Cassia trees in Haiti. These trees have led to the reduction of 70,000 kg of CO2 (154,323 lbs.) in the air. In addition, Bender has been working hard to minimize the consumption of all plastic used within their building, replacing them with eco-friendly, biodegradable alternatives. Other initiatives include giving away reusable grocery bags and water bottles and using auto-switch lights in all rooms and hallways to turn off after periods of inactivity.

Going forward, Bender plans on becoming environmentally certified to help the organization improve thier environmental performance.
