Feb 19, 2021

Gerrie Electric and TD Commercial Banking are pleased to host a virtual seminar on financial and cyber crimes with presentations from TD Commercial Banking, Halton Police Services Cyber Crimes Unit, Joe Apps Technology Support, and Gerrie Electric.

Over the last year, there has been a heightened level of cyber threats and activities, as cyber criminals use COVID-19 as an opportunity to exploit everyday consumers and take advantage of increased time spent online. Cyber criminals have leveraged the crisis and human vulnerability to profit financially and otherwise.

All companies, regardless of size, have increasingly become the target of criminal enterprises. These crimes are extremely savvy and creative, and it is imperative that business owners and employees are aware of the signs and common pitfalls. The goal of this webinar is to increase awareness, to learn how businesses are impacted, and how to protect your business from falling victim.
