Premise is proud to be the first Canadian-headquartered lighting manufacturer approved by the National Lighting Bureau’s (NLB) Trusted Warranty Program, a premier warranty program that awards certificates to lighting and lighting component companies that sell in the U.S. and Canada. Founded in 1976, the NLB is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating lighting decision-makers about High-Benefit Lighting®— efficient lighting designed to optimize human performance, health, safety, and commerce. Its Trusted Warranty Program reviews and assesses companies based on five criteria: formal warranty process, warranty language, length of business/warranty insurance, technical evaluation, and claims review evaluation. Being approved for this program means Premise demonstrates quality and reliability across all five categories, giving industry stakeholders confidence in us as a manufacturer.

“Ever since starting this business, we’ve never stopped being there for our customers.  And we’ve never relied on the ‘fine print’ in our Warranty Terms as an escape clause. It is awesome that we are now officially recognized for providing a warranty that truly means something,” said Nick Wagner, Premise President & Co-Founder

“Being approved for the NLB Trusted Warranty Program is an awesome accomplishment, and we’re proud of what it stands for: to be a company that reliably stands behind their warranty. We look forward to working with lighting designers, electrical distributors, contractors, and utilities who are encouraged to specify and use products that carry the NLB Trusted Warranty logo—together, we can raise the bar in the industry and across entire supply chain.”
