APPrO AwardsWomen in Renewable Energy (WiRE) is pleased to open nominations for the APPrO 2021 Woman of the Year Award!

Nominee must stand out as a leader who has contributed significantly to the expansion and improvement of their field of energy technology and/or emerging energy technology sector. This may be demonstrated by the nominee through excellence in areas such as: business leadership, volunteering, policy and advocacy, technical advancement / research and development, project development, community engagement and public adoption of technologies, providing a role model contributing to the advance of women in the sector. The nominee must be a woman working in Canada.

 This may be demonstrated by the nominee through excellence in areas such as:

  • Volunteering
  • Leadership
  • Policy and advocacy
  • Technical advancement / Research and development
  • Project development
  • Community engagement and increased adoption of renewable energy technologies
  • Being a role model contributing to the advancement of women in the sector
