EFC Announces New Appointments

EFC Staffing Changes

Nathalie Lajoie has been appointed Director of National Events; Swati Patel, Director of Research and Communications.

Nathalie Lajoie has been with the organization for 16 years, and in that period, has managed the national conference, networking, educational and Ontario Region events, as well as provided management support to three other related associations. In her role, Nathalie will continue to focus on event contract negotiations, and the expansion and participation of relevant events for EFC members.

Swati Patel has been with the organization since 2005. Throughout her career at EFC, she has written and published many value-added publications for EFC, including several industry whitepapers on sustainability and smart grids, the Canadian Electrical Industry Profile, “Click and Order: Examining On-line Purchasing Trends,” and most recently “Talent: A Playbook for Adopting to the 21st Century.” She also manages the overall production of Pathfinder and leads the EFC Research Committee, the Canadian Anti-Counterfeiting Network, as well as the newly-created Young Professionals Network. Patel will focus on member communications, event promotions and market research.  
 
Both Nathalie Lajoie and Swati Patel will continue reporting directly to Rick McCarten, VP, Operations.
