Copper, as every electrical distributor knows, is either a key component of sales (especially construction-oriented distributors) or a key component of many products.
ECAO recently launched a new program called Future Leaders Advisory Council (FLAC). Their inaugural meeting was held virtually this past June. Discussing the thought process behind FLAC, ECAO Executive Director, Graeme Aitken explained there were a number of factors that went into the decision.
Someone once asked me why we struggle with diversity and inclusion in Canada. My response was that we have never taken the time to discuss the value of both as a society. While Canada identifies itself as a multicultural country, the diverse make-up of the population itself is made to exist in a vacuum and outside of what multiculturalism seeks to achieve.
From February 5 to February 23, Technical Safety BC will be hosting a public consultation to gather feedback on the impact of adopting the 2024 Canadian Electrical Code (CE Code) into BC regulation.
Canadian municipalities issued $8.2 billion worth of building permits in July, down 0.1% from June. The decrease was mainly attributable to lower construction intentions in British Columbia.
