Contractors’ Average Salaries by Company Size

The largest companies pay the most. In 2016, there was a $28,000 spread between the largest and smallest employers. In 2015 and 2014, the spreads were narrower. But these extremes aside, company size isn’t an automatic indicator of pay rates.
