Pay Difference by Location for Control Systems Engineers

It is interesting that these two words “High Voltage” have been used throughout the history of our use of electricity to use fear as a tactic to keep people away from electrical equipment located indoors or outdoors and in turn has also been considered “high risk.”
The grid is changing. The linear approach from generation and transmission through to distribution has been replaced in favour of a dynamic 2-way flow driven by distributed generation and automation. The grid has evolved, it is becoming smart.
Recently, I had the pleasure of sitting down with David O’Reilly, Vice President Home & Distribution and Secure Power Divisions with Schneider Electric Canada for a discussion regarding the Wiser EnergyTM smart home solution, the Wiser Approved training program, and his thoughts on several different subjects, including sustainability and future technologies currently in the works at Schneider Electric. David has been with the company for five and a half years in his role.
Le Groupe Génitique has been in operation for more than 25 years, serving the hydropower and industrial process sectors. The firm provides electrical contractor and general contractor services, and is recognized for its technical expertise in the design, operation and maintenance of hydroelectric facilities and transmission and distribution networks.
One of the truly ironic things in life is that the events that shape us, make us stronger than we would be otherwise and define our adult selves are, frequently, bad things.
