Often, code users encounter situations where they find themselves at odds with the rules contained in the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
Procore Technologies, Inc., a global provider of construction management software, today released the results of its 2022 Customer Return On Invest (ROI) report.
The total value of building permits increased 6.8% to $11.2 billion in November. Seven provinces, led by Alberta (+20.6%) reported increases. Construction intentions in the residential sector rose 12.0% while the non-residential sector declined 3.4%.
In fall 2014, UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon exhorted all countries to raise the ambitions of their climate change policies to avoid a global temperature increase of more than 2oC during this century. Since the Rio+20 Conference, he has repeatedly called for a greater contribution of science to resolve environmental problems. Responding to this call, 30 Canadian universities created a collective initiative called Sustainable Canada Dialogues (SCD).
Enmax Power Corporation, an Alberta-based utility, was facing more frequent and longer power interruptions, causing its reliability rating from the Canadian Electricity Association to slide toward the third quartile.
This is the third of a series of articles detailing significant changes for the 2015 Canadian Electrical Code Part I (CE Code). Specifically, Sections 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12.The rules in this article are limited to changes adopted by CE Code Technical Committee and not subject to further changes.
