Electrical Contractor Salaries by Employer Type

My feet were cold. In my haste to run out the door that night when the pager chirped and informed me that it was time to get moving, I had neglected to put socks on. So now my feet were cold, and it was both distracting and inconvenient. Of course, with everything else that was going on at the moment it would have been hard to generate any sympathy from my colleagues, but still, they were cold.
In a recent article on LEDs, we covered numerous topics and questions to help consumers buy the right bulb for their needs and be happy with their purchase. But LEDs are not only for residential use. In fact, some of the first applications/uses of LEDs (after indicator lights) were for exit signs, traffic lights, taillights, and refrigerated case lights.
I first met Mike Byam at the 2017 Ideal Supply northern trade show in Barrie, Ontario, and have since had the pleasure of bumping into him at a few other industry events.
Mackenzie Gillan, a bright young lady from Baysville, Ontario, tells us about how she learned to love the electrical trade in high school, and how that path has carried her forward to unexpected places and new heights—literally.
The requirements of the 2021 Canadian Electrical Code, including local amendments, will be enforced by the City of Winnipeg starting July 1, 2022 via Winnipeg Electrical By-law No. 72/2022.
