Call for Nominations: Leaders That Make a Difference in the Canadian Electrical Industry

It takes one individual or company to make a difference. Whether they demonstrate strong leadership or a commitment to contributing to the health of the industry, it is important to recognize these individuals to breed success. Nominating an individual for their commitment and successful accomplishments builds our community to grow, lead and compete in an ever-changing world.

Recipients will be honoured at this year’s 2023 Industry Conference in Charlevoix, QC, during the awards gala.

Annually EFC recognizes a select group of leaders of the member community through its Industry Awards program. The annual awards include:

CEMRA Person of the Year | IRA | Trailblazer | Corporate Engagement Excellence

Only one submission from each nominee’s company is necessary. For example: 5 submissions from one company, for the same nominee, is not required.

2023 CEMRA Person of the Year – Submission Deadline March 15, 2023

Since 2000, EFC has been recognizing top individuals who have made a difference to CEMRA and the rep business in Canada by demonstrating leadership, commitment, and outstanding support.

Members may submit more than one nominee for this award. EFC’s CEMRA Executive will review all entries, vote and select the award recipient.

2023 EFC Trailblazer Award – Submission Deadline March 15, 2023

The 5th Annual Trailblazer Award recognizes an exceptional leader who has been a recent catalyst for change by bringing new ideas, processes or best practices to the forefront in the industry. This award is given to someone who currently works at an EFC member organization.

Members may submit more than one nominee for this award. EFC’s National Advisory Council will review all entries in confidence and select the award recipient.

2023 EFC Industry Recognition Award (IRA) – Submission Deadline March 15, 2023

This award is presented to an individual who has retired or is approaching retirement age, and who has demonstrated a lifetime of strong leadership in the Canadian electrical industry in regional or national activities. The award recipient must be someone who has worked at an EFC member organization or has been a strong industry supporter.

Members may submit more than one nominee for this award. EFC’s National Advisory Council will review all entries in confidence and select the award recipient.

2023 EFC Corporate Engagement Excellence Award

This recognition is given to an EFC member company that demonstrates leadership in committee and event participation—and supports EFC’s sponsorship programs. The corporate award contenders and the final recipient is selected by the EFC Board of Directors, based on set criteria.

Nomination form is not available as contenders are selected by the EFC BOD.
