On October 2, in response to the growing IoT market, Convectair launched a solution for the era of connected devices. The launch took place at the Maison des Arts de Laval in the company of customers, distributor and agent partners, researchers who had participated in the development of this new solution, French partners and dignitaries, and electrical contractors. Bernard Pitre, President of Convectair, presented the main points of this solution using the Z-Wave Plus protocol.

Connectair is an open ecosystem digital device that is secure, continuously evolving, and a simple way to control the connected devices in your residences. This solution for controlling all the residential environments is the fruit of a collaboration between Convectair’s Centre for Expertise and Training and 2KLIC, a business specializing in the Internet of Things.

The IoT is experiencing exponential growth in the residential market. Connected devices include alarm systems, lighting, heating systems, household appliances, and television. Connectair is an open connectivity ecosystem. It was developed based on the protocol of Z-Wave Plus and is a universal solution. It allows users to control all the connected devices in a residence by remotely accessing functions and commands.

Watch for an interview with Bernard Pitre in an upcoming issue.
