In these 2-hour talks, learn about the National Advanced Lighting Controls Training Program, installation and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure, and solar photovoltaic systems.

“The National Advanced Lighting Controls Training Program (NALCTP),” May 14, provides an overview of this multi-jurisdictional initiative aimed at increasing the use of lighting controls in commercial buildings and industrial facilities. NALCTP educates, trains and certifies licensed electrical contractors and certified general electricians in the proper programming, testing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of advanced lighting control systems in commercial facilities. Speaker: Farid Poursoltani, an Electrical Joint Training Committee trainer.

“Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program,” May 18, will provide information on the CE Code and equipment requirements. The program addresses the need for installation and maintenance of the EV charging infrastructure in the safest and most cost effective manner. Speaker: Farid Poursoltani.

“Solar Photovoltaic Systems,” May 31, will discuss solar photo-voltaic system installations, concerns and general knowledge, including:

• best choice for modules
• costing for Installation
• hazards
• safety
• effect on insurance coverage for the building
• rooftop Installations
