Uninterruptible Power Supply Receives Innovation Award from German Publication

As the first intelligent uninterruptible power supply, a key feature of the QUINT DC-UPS from Phoenix Contact is its easy integration in established industrial networks.

It has an integrated interface for PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, and USB, and therefore offers a high degree of flexibility. The intelligent battery management system with IQ Technology and powerful battery charger also ensures very high system availability.

This combination of product features also impressed the expert jury at SCHALTSCHRANKBAU, the German trade journal for the control cabinet manufacturing industry published by TeDo-Verlag, and resulted in the power supply receiving the SCHALTSCHRANKBAU Innovation Award 2019.

With its award, the publication recognizes five outstandingly innovative products that reinforce the competitive strength of the German switchgear manufacturing sector while also meeting the growing needs of operators. As such, the expert jury deemed the QUINT DC-UPS power supply to be a particularly progressive solution for control cabinet manufacturing.
