Join IES Toronto for a virtual presentation on LED retrofits. Topics include various LED retrofit options and their advantages/disadvantages, along with project examples and control possibilities. This event will be presented by Adam Behiels from Mulvey & Banani – Edmonton Office, followed by an open discussion and sharing of thoughts.

This event is open to anyone in the local electrical industry who is interested in a fun, yet informative event. Engineers, architects, designers, electrical wholesalers, electrical contractors, lighting agents, and anyone else interested in learning more about the options along with pros/cons of common LED retrofits.

Adam Behiels, P.Eng., LC, Project Manager at Mulvey + Banani

Adam has spent  13 years in the commercial construction industry working as an electrical consultant while honing a specialty in lighting design.  He has had the opportunity to carry out several lighting upgrades in institutional and commercial  settings through both the maturity and phase out of Fluorescent lighting to the phase in and mainstream adoption of LED technology.

Ben is a Professional Engineer and the Team Lead for the Edmonton and Arctic Electrical Teams at Williams Engineering

Ben is Lighting Certified (LC) from the NCQLP, which is an indicator of his knowledge and expertise in the field of lighting design. He also serves on the Board of Director’s for the Edmonton Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNA) Chapter. With the chapter he has been an instructor for the Fundamentals of Lighting course and has given multiple educational talks on a variety of lighting topics. He is also a WELL Accredited Professional indicating his human centric design knowledge.

Ben’s project experience includes a variety of commercial, institutional, and residential projects with multiple libraries, recreation centers, office towers, restaurants, schools, and zoo projects.
