Eaton Canada is pleased to be partnering with RDC Fine homes in their Net Zero home building initiative by providing a unique offering of residential electrical equipment.

A Net Zero Energy (NZE) building, is a structure with zero net energy consumption, meaning the total amount of energy used by the building on an annual basis is roughly equal to the amount of renewable energy created on site. Consequently, the buildings do not increase the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. They do at times require the consumption of non-renewable energy and do produce greenhouse gases, but at other times reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas production by an equal amount.

Eaton Canada is partnering with Whistler, B.C based RDC Fine Homes a firm that has specialized in the construction and renovation of energy efficient sustainable green homes that function better and last longer. RDC is lead by Bob Deeks a veteran home builder and current vice chair of the Canadian Homebuilders Association Net Zero Energy Housing Council.

Accompanying them in this project is Mike Holmes, the TV Host and Contractor recently gave his stamp of approval to RDC Fine homes, the only Holmes Approved Home Builder in the Sea to Sky, West Vancouver, and North Vancouver area. Together they are helping raise the building standards while constructing safer, healthier and more durable energy efficient homes.
