Solid bidding is the core of your business. The Fundamentals of Electrical Estimating is an intense 2-day hands-on course designed to introduce the basic principles of electrical estimating and its applications.

Participants will learn to produce estimates in a systematic way, from start to the final bid price. The forms supplied are easy to follow and will guide you step by step. Errors are easy to find. All material is listed and a labour unit is applied to each item. Participants will also finalize a tender and add overhead and all other job costs.

Session topics include estimating fundamentals, detailed takeoff, layout and estimate for various electrical tasks, and pricing, labouring and summarizing.
