To showcase the exceptional work performed by member contractors, the National Electrical Contractors Association’s Project Excellence awards recognize companies for their outstanding commitment, professionalism and ingenuity in delivering an electrical project. Application deadline: April 30.

The award program is open to contractors who are NECA members, are in good standing, and have completed projects between January 1 and December 31, 2017.

Awards will be based on whether the electrical/technology portion of the project is valued under or over US$1 million for each market sector, except for industrial, overhead transmission, residential, substation/interconnection, and transportation/infrastructure.

Projects from these 11 categories are eligible for the award:

• commercial/institutional
• design build
• educational
• energy solutions/green building
• health care
• industrial
• overhead transmission
• residential
• street lighting/traffic signal
• substation/interconnection
• transportation and infrastructure
