Challenging Aspiring Electricians with Eaton Products at Skills Competitions

July 3, 2018

Aspiring skilled trades participants recently descended upon annual Skills Competitions held in Toronto and Edmonton.

Eaton has been a proud corporate supporter of Skills Ontario for the past several years providing competition products for the Skills committee and its contestants which it again undertook this year.  These competitions included Eaton control components to test the skill level of students on the assembly of control panels, as well as the simulated installation of residential load centres, inclusive of Surge Suppression Devices, Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters, and Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (breakers).

For aspiring students attending the competition in Toronto, Eaton presented an educational seminar, “Understanding Control Wiring.”  At the Skills event in Edmonton, Eaton was pleased to support a local Authorized Distributor by making a donation of similar products for the competition held there.
