“Along with the Municipality of Brockton, we welcome Applus to our region,” said Mike Rencheck, President and CEO, Bruce Power. “Applus is supporting our mission to provide clean, affordable and reliable power to Ontario’s residents and businesses; it is also making an investment in the Brockton community by creating opportunities for local workers and using commercial space in the municipality.”

Walkerton is the 12th Canadian office for Applus+, which also has locations in Bathurst, N.B.; St. John, N.B.; Quebec City; Pickering, ON; Burlington, ON; Calgary; Edmonton; Fort McMurray, Alta.; Grande Prairie, Alta.; Surrey, B.C.; and Victoria.

“We want to help Bruce Power and the Brockton community to continue its success and invest in its own people and infrastructure.”

Chris Peabody, the Mayor of Brockton, welcomed Applus to the municipality.

“We are excited to have Applus, our first supplier for Bruce Power’s MCR project,” said Peabody. “We are lucky to have a world-class leader in innovative solutions for workplace testing and health and safety in Walkerton.  Brockton looks forward to working with Bruce Power in attracting additional suppliers.”
