Contractors dominate the electrical product purchasing market with 48%, over twice the next closest market, Industrial, OEM and Automation which makes up 23% of Full-Line electrical customers.
Pay appears to peak for estimators with 10-19 years of experience, declining slightly thereafter. The national average salary of those surveyed is $64,647.
As part of its annual conference, NETCO awards a deserving individual the Leadership Excellence Award.
The national median salary for mechanical engineers is $64,246; Calgary tops all cities at 21% above the national median, while Toronto is 2% below.
This graph shows six salaries by position for electrical contracting. Of those surveyed, electrical superintendent outpaces the next highest salary by $23,000.
