The federal government launched their SME (small and medium enterprises) apprenticeship funding program back in September of 2022, the program will run until March 31st, 2024.
Ontario electrical contractors belonging to the IBEW local 353 earn the highest average hourly rate when compared to other major Canadian employers.
In June, Canadian municipalities issued $8.1 billion worth of building permits, down 2.3% from the previous month. The decline was the result of lower construction intentions for residential buildings, following a strong May.
November 4, 2024 Effective October 30, 2024, Manitoba’s apprenticeship and certification system will undergo regulatory changes. These changes aim to enhance responsiveness to industry needs, align with Red Seal standards, and improve the quality of apprentice training and safety. Go HERE for more information Source
