Industrial electricians have a clear advantage in payscale over four other types of electricians. Conversely, residential electricians’ median salary is $4,000 below the national average.

Industrial electricians have a clear advantage in payscale over four other types of electricians. Conversely, residential electricians’ median salary is $4,000 below the national average.
Early in their careers electrical foremen earn an average of about $35/hour, eventually rising to $42/hour. The national average of those surveyed is $37/hour or $85,000/year.
Section 30 – Installation of Lighting Equipment as outlined in Rule 30-000 Scope is a supplementary or amendatory section of the code and provides additional and specific requirements for the location, installation, wiring, protection, and control of all lighting equipment.
Rule 84-000 notes that this is a supplementary or amendatory section of the code and applies only to the installation of power production sources interconnected with a supply authority system.

Canadian municipalities issued $7.9 billion worth of building permits in July, down 3.5% from June and the first decrease since March 2017. Lower construction intentions for commercial buildings and multi-family dwellings were mainly responsible for the national decline. The total value of permits was down in seven provinces, led by lower construction intentions for multi-family dwellings and commercial buildings in Ontario.
