8WH Terminals by Siemens offer Contact Stability even under Vibration Conditions

Siemens terminals 400

Feb 15, 2019

Highlights

  • Contact stability even under vibration conditions
  • No retightening of the clamping point necessary – contact stability independently of the operator
  • Space-saving compact design and front connection for more transparency during assembly

For vibration-sensitive applications

Spring-loaded connections are used above all in control cabinet building, plant building and control engineering, as well as in transport systems. The 8WH2 spring-loaded terminal is predestined in particular for vibration-sensitive applications. How you benefit: The tension spring always applies a constant pressure to the conductor – regardless of what the operator does. There is no need to check for a safe connection.

Playing safe

The 8WH2 spring-loaded terminal also brings benefits in assembly: Its extremely compact design offers a high level of convenience in wiring, particularly where space is restricted. The connection is made comfortably from the front, with the conductor making secure contact with the busbar thanks to the tension spring principle in the terminal.
