Newly Redesigned SCEPTER® Service Entrance Fittings Provide Easy Electrical Conduit Installation

December 1, 2024

The improved Scepter® fitting selection delivers higher quality, dependability, and effectiveness for exterior electrical applications.

IPEX by Aliaxis, a leading manufacturer of thermoplastic piping systems, now offers a newly redesigned line of Scepter® Service Entrance Fittings for nonmetallic electrical conduit sizes 2½ inches to 4 inches.

Made of rigid PVC, the fittings feature a new compact design with a snap-in assembly. Unlike the previous heavy and bulky fittings, the newly redesigned offerings are sleek and lightweight, making them easier to install. In addition, the redesigned 2½ inches to 4 inches sizes are UL-listed and CSA-certified.

Service entrance fittings bring electrical service to the exterior of a structure. They are installed on top of a mast, where an overhead cable connects the main power line to the building. The Scepter range includes adapters, couplings, elbows, access fittings, boxes, cover plates and expansion fittings — virtually any fitting required to complete the PVC conduit system.

The versatile Scepter Rigid PVC fittings will meet the needs of various commercial applications: utilities, airports, parking garages, and water and sewer treatment plants. Suitable for exposed, concrete-encased, and direct-burial applications, these fittings provide concrete tightness in all weather conditions while offering high impact and tensile strength.

“We are thrilled to introduce our latest range of Scepter Service Entrance Fittings,” says Martin Pepin. “With their sleek and lightweight design, these fittings offer effortless installation, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.”
