Into the Digital Future: Rittal Standardized Data Centres

March 30 2016

Rittal is positioning itself as an expert solution partner for medium-sized companies that need an energy-efficient and future-proof data centre for their business model. All-in-one Rittal solutions range from single enclosures (smart packages) and micro data centres to containers for data centres. Consequently, IT environments can for example be built as containers using preconfigured plug&play modules at a clearly defined operating cost.

Industrialized data centre design calls for predefined solutions that can be implemented quickly. Time-to-market is a critical factor, particularly in cloud and collocation applications. Rittal’s container solutions address these needs and support customers with clearly defined costs.

“Our customers have to build an energy-efficient and failsafe IT infrastructure quickly and at a cost that can be clearly calculated,” says Bernd Hanstein, Vice-President Product Management IT at Rittal. “We show how modular and predefined container solutions can be used to build a physical IT infrastructure for a secure private cloud environment.”
