Ideal Industries: Keystone Modular Jacks Designed to Exceed

February 3, 2017

The Keystone modular data jacks, new to Ideal Industries Inc.’s product line-up for professional technicians and installers, include a full line of colours and complimentary faceplates. The jacks are ROHS compliant and compatible with other Keystone network products.

These high performance modular jack connectors exceed the CAT5e or CAT6 requirements of ANSI/TIA-568-C.2, giving installers the ability to use these products in installations for applications such as Gigabit Ethernet. All jacks feature a robust internal printed circuit board design used to help reduce NEXT (near-end cross talk) and improve RF performance at higher frequencies. The addition of this product completes the CUT-STRIP-TERMINATE-TEST concept for IDEAL for both coax and twisted pair cabling.

The Ideal Keystone jacks have an industry standard (14.5mm x 16mm) profile interface and latch location so they are compatible with many other keystone style sized panels, racks, and plates.
