Thanks to extensive testing, Phoenix Contact’s new zip cord patch cables achieve an optimum level of quality. Various connectors, fibre types, and customer-specific cable lengths allow custom solutions to be created for every application.
The cables offer a number of advantages, such as excellent mechanical and optical transmission quality, various connectors, cable lengths and fibre categories according to customer requirements, OM3 and OM4: bend-resistant fibres, and an individual test report for each item.
Main features include:
- up to 10 Gbps
- UPC polishing process IL < 0.3 dB; RL > 35 dB
- extensive test program (including change of climate, vibration, torsion)
- consistent interferometer tests in each certification process
- fire protection in accordance with UL OFNR and LSZH
